Friends of ASHTAR Theatre: UK is a volunteer group of artists and activists in the UK dedicated to supporting the work of ASHTAR Theatre (@ashtartheatre) in Palestine, especially now, facing funding challenges related to neo-colonialism and culturicidal pressures.
ASHTAR Theatre is a dynamic Palestinian theatre founded in 1991 with a truly progressive global perspective. We aim to promote creativity and commitment for change through a novel combination of specific training and acting programs, services and professional theatre performances.
